Black and white majestic rocket with Apollo capsule and escape tower.  Replaced the Semrock capsule and escape tower with same-scale parts from Apogee.  Modified to allow swap between 24-mm motor mount and a cluster mount of 4 18-mm motors.

Flight Date: 2013-07-13
Rocket Name: Semroc - Saturn 1B
Kit Name: Semroc - Saturn 1B {Kit} (KS-1)
Flyer's Name: Edward Chess
Motors: 4XC6-3
Wind Speed: 5.00 mph
Launch Site: FVR, Kishwaukee Park, Woodstock

Good boost, all motors lit.  Event at apogee, but parachute did not eject from body.  Freefall, landing on side, 3 fns destroyed, some wrinkling in various body tubes--more cometic than structural damage for wrinkles.  Will need to rebuild fins and remove ejection baffle, which created too much back pressure.

StageMotor(s)
14 x Estes C6-3
