Flight Log - 2016-01-16 - Matthew Bond's Rocketarium Mega Vortico

A helicopter style odd-roc, with four "blades" that extend out from the central 24mm motor tube.  Literally a larger version of the 18mm Vortico.  Constructed from a total of 7 laser cut light plywood parts.  Flight profile is high drag, low altitude, spin stabilized, very entertaining.

Stepping up the motor selection for the 24mm Mega Vortico.  Finally got the older Aerotech E-15 to light on the third igniter and off she went!.  Great boost, spinning like crazy all the way up and all the way down.  I had removed the ejection charge so the rocket just spun quietly all the way back down.
