Flight Log - 2011-08-30 - Paul Nortness's "Big Black"

Estes Mean Machine built with a Semroc BT60 ejection baffle. I had not yet added the decals and just had it painted all black when my wife asked "When are you going to launch Big Black?" (her being a big fan of the MTV show "Rob and Big")....so my Estes Mean Machine was hence forth dubbed "Big Black". I went to Michael's and got some gold lettering and put "Big Black" on the side of the rocket and "Do Work" towards the nose.

Great launch with the kids from our neighborhood rocket club. Big Black soared into the air with a throaty roar. It came down a tad too hard on one of the fins and broke a fillet. Fixable
