Time 10:26 am. Wind blowing low from the west. Sunny. Temp: 75F. Rocket launched with old Phoenix 2 payload section and nosecone. Launched with onboard video (CAMERA 1). Rocket left launch pad and immediately flew sideways towards the west. Parachute deployed as rocket descended. Did not open correctly. Daniel and Justin recovered about 100 yards west of the launch site. Rocket fin broken (but may be repaired). Five of six parachute cords torn. Camera recorded video of flight successfully.
