Flight Log - 2013-05-09 - Steve Lindeman's Jetliner

What a great addition to the Estes mini engine seriers rockets. This little gem resembles a Boing 737 Jetliner and is bound to be a blast to watch on launch day. I have modified mine by replacing the 13mm mount with an 18mm mount.

Flight Date: 2013-05-09
Rocket Name: Jetliner
Kit Name: Estes - Jetliner {Kit} (003230)
Flyer's Name: Steve Lindeman
Motors: A10-3T
Wind Speed: 4.00 mph
Launch Site: Francis Park - Lansing, MI

This flight was again using the Estes 18 to 13mm adapter so that we could fly her for the review I plan on writing. Dreadfully under powered. At least this time it cleared the rod without hanging up or falling over as the maiden flight, but not much better. Very low altitude, maybe 100'??. At least the parachute deployed this time even though the rocket was less than 10' from ground. Barely had time to open. No damage but see powder burn marks around top of BT.
